How we proceed
Every life is a story that is always worth telling. But to tell that story, we need a listener, someone to hear it, someone to care about it. Poets have muses. Performers have audiences. Writers have readers.
Before they have readers, writers have auditors. Some writers can hear themselves write, and some test what they have written by reading it out loud -- to themselves or to a trusted listener.
Perhaps all you need to begin to write your story yourself is someone to tell it to, someone who can hear it, someone who wants to hear it, someone who can inspire you, someone who can help you activate your memories and thoughts, someone who can read over what you have written and help you shape it and make it better – an auditor who becomes an editor.
Or, perhaps, you want someone to listen to you, to bring you out, to ask you questions, and then to write your story in your voice, a
collaborator, or ghostwriter.
Through a series of interviews, e-mail conversations, or Skype sessions, together, we can begin to turn your memories into a Memoir, and transform the flow of the events and experiences that have formed you and the story of your life into your life’s monument and memorial, something of you, something from you, something that contains you -- always remaining to be read and cherished.
